hair factoree x honey and co. part 2

i know you all are dying to see the next post from the foxy ladies of honey and co.  today's hair lesson is modeled by sarah! i could blab on about her for days but lets just get to it...

first, section your hair into two parts. like you are doing piggy tails, but dont worry, it gets better...

do any kind of braid to each of the two sections of your hair. you can do a fishtail, or a three strand, or a five strand, or a rope braid, i dont care what kind you do or if you even do the same kind on both sides but just get to braiding

***a little tricky trick i like is to tease the end (last inch) of your braid with a fine tooth comb instead of using a hair tie, its less bulky and more boho looking.

take one of the braids and pin it to your head in an s shape, so start pinning the first part of the braid then when you get half way through the braid turn it under itself and keep pinning. dont try to look back there just grab the braid and pin it to your head.

youll then do the same thing with the other braid. feel free to overlap them and to tuck the end of your second braid into the first to hide your ends and pins.

then after they are both pinned up... MESS THEM UP, MESS THEM UP A LOT and I like to use the pads of my fingers and rub the braids to kinda roughen them up.

be sure to pull up on the crown above the braids to add volume that you can see from the front, and then taaaa daaaa

lets hear it for sarah... what a beauty!

(and never forget to pull out pieces in front of your ear, you wont regret it)

on a completely unrelated note, sarah and i both have this madewell skirt, which could be the dreamiest piece we own. i couldnt post about sarah without paying my respects to this beaded work of art.
